About The Albemarle Hotel
The Albemarle Hotel is a traditional family run Scarborough hotel, situated on a quiet crescent close to the town centre and just a couple of minutes walk from the rail station, shops and the night life. Scarborough’s famously wide and safe sandy beaches are no more than a five minute walk from the hotel, making the Albemarle a great base from which to enjoy Scarborough’s many charms, both modern and traditional.
Whatever the reason for your break in Scarborough the Albemarle will fulfil its role as a warm, comfortable and friendly base. We have 14 comfortable ensuite bedrooms, each with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities, and not only can we start your day with wonderful English or continental breakfast, but we also serve evening meals by arrangement.
Scarborough is one of the most famous Yorkshire East coast resorts, and not without good cause. The town itself has an interesting mix of shops, boutiques, a pedestrianised precinct and some speciality shops too. There is a great range of restaurants serving seafood, Italian, Indian, Chinese or Thai, and of course some of the finest of fresh fish and chips on the east coast.
For golfers and walkers, lovers of the wild countryside and the North York Moors National Park, swimmers and family holidaymakers, the Albemarle Hotel offers a friendly point from which to start your day, and a welcome at the end of it. Our prices are traditional, and competitive too. B&B is just £20 to £25 per person per night, children aged 3 – 15 years are half price, and we offer special reduced rates for stays over 7 days.
